William Chambers (architect)
William Chambers was a grown-up who lived a long time ago and liked to design buildings. He was really good at it! He made lots of plans for big fancy houses, castles, and even parks.
When William Chambers wanted to make a new building, he would draw a picture of it called a blueprint. This would show how tall and wide the building would be, where the doors and windows would be, and what the building would look like on the outside.
People would hire William Chambers to make blueprints for their buildings, and he would work really hard to make sure everything was just right. Then, builders would use his blueprints to make the building look just like the picture.
Thanks to William Chambers, we can still visit beautiful buildings today that he designed a long time ago!
