A Wimshurst Machine is a machine used to make electricity. It has two disks with metal lines on them, and when you turn them one of the disks makes an electric charge and the other collects it. This electric charge can be used to power things like lights or motors. When you turn the disks, the electricity moves around the metal lines, and some of the electricity jumps from one disk to the other. The electric charge is stored in a container called a Leyden jar.
