Winans Steam Gun

A Winans Steam Gun is an old-fashioned weapon from the late 1800s that shot steam instead of bullets. The Steam Gun had a big steel tank full of water, which was heated to create steam. The steam was then shot out through a barrel like in a normal gun. It wasn’t very powerful, but it could still cause some damage. People used it mostly in parades and shows because it was less dangerous than a normal gun.
