ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Wind instruments

Wind instruments are musical instruments that are played by blowing air into them with your mouth. When you blow into the instrument, the air vibrates and makes a sound.

There are many different types of wind instruments, such as the flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, and trombone. Each instrument has a different shape and size, which affects the way the air flows through it and the sound that comes out.

To play a wind instrument, you have to learn how to control your breath and make different sounds by using your fingers to cover or uncover different holes or valves on the instrument.

Playing a wind instrument can be challenging, but with practice, you can develop your skills and create beautiful music. Plus, it's a lot of fun!
