Witticism

A witticism is a funny or clever thing someone says. People use witticisms to make people laugh or make a point. For example, if your friend said "I always forget my passwords - I have amnesia of the passwords," that would be a witticism. It's funny because amnesia is a real memory disorder, but your friend it talking about forgetting their passwords.
