Women in baseball

Baseball is a sport that was traditionally played by boys and men. People used to think that women and girls weren't strong enough to play baseball, but there have been many women who have proved that wrong. Women have been playing baseball since the 1800s. Women's teams used to play against one another, and even against men's teams, with great success. In recent years, more and more women have been playing professional baseball. There are now both women's professional and amateur baseball leagues, with teams from all around the world. Women are showing that they can be just as good as men at baseball who have the same skills and training.
