Women in science

Women in science is about having women study, research, and work in science! Science includes fields like biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, and engineering, which are fields that help us learn more about the world and understand how things work. Women have been doing important work in all of these fields for a long time, but haven't always gotten the same recognition that men have. Now, it is becoming more and more important to make sure that women in science are getting the same opportunities to learn, do research, and work in science as men. That means making sure there are more women in college classes in the sciences, and that there are more women getting jobs in important positions. It also means making sure that both men and women are treated fairly and equally in their work, and that their accomplishments are recognized!
