Women's Reservation Bill

The Women's Reservation Bill is a law that would give women more seats in the Indian Parliament. This means that women would have a bigger say in decisions that affect the everyday lives of people in India. Currently, only around 11% of seats in Parliament are held by women which means they do not have much say in deciding things like healthcare, education, jobs, and other important topics. The Women's Reservation Bill would make sure that at least 33% of the seats in Indian Parliament would be held by women. This would help make sure that women have a better say in important decisions and it would also help make women's voices more heard in India.
