Works of Mercy

"Works of mercy" are things we can do to help make the world a better place. Kind of like when you see someone fall down and you offer to help them up. That is a small "work of mercy." 

There are lots of different types of "works of mercy," and they all have different names, like feeding the hungry, visiting the sick, or comforting those who are sad. These are things we can do to help others feel better, physically or emotionally.

We can also do "works of mercy" for the environment by recycling, conserving water, and using reusable bags. These things can help make the Earth a better place for everyone.

So next time you see someone who needs help, think about what kind of "work of mercy" you can do to make their life a little better.
