World Charter for Prostitutes' Rights

Okay, imagine you and your friends want to play a game. But, some kids in your class won't let you play the game because they don't like you. That's not fair, is it?

Well, some people think that grown-ups who work as prostitutes (which means they sell their bodies for money) are treated unfairly. They think that people don't let them do their job and they get in trouble for it, even though it's their choice.

So, a group of people got together and made something called a "charter". A charter is like a list of rules that says how people should be treated. This charter is called the "World Charter for Prostitutes' Rights". It's like a big rulebook that says how people who work as prostitutes should be treated fairly.

The charter says things like:
-Prostitutes should be able to work without feeling scared or in danger.
-Prostitutes should have access to healthcare and be able to protect themselves from getting sick.
-Prostitutes should be able to choose who they want to work for and what kind of work they want to do.
-Prostitutes shouldn't be punished or judged just because they do this kind of work.

Overall, the charter is a way to help make sure that people who work as prostitutes are treated like human beings and are protected from bad things happening to them.
