World Forestry Congress

A World Forestry Congress is a special meeting of forest experts and government leaders from around the world. It is a place to talk about how to protect the forests around us so that we can have a healthy environment for all living things. People come to this meeting to share their ideas about how to better manage forests and how to protect the wildlife that lives in them. They also talk about ways to use the forests in a sustainable way—so that people can still benefit from the forests without destroying them.
