World Phenomenology Institute

The World Phenomenology Institute is a center for research and teaching about an area of philosophy called phenomenology. Phenomenology is the study of the structures of experience and consciousness. In other words, it looks at how people experience the world around them in terms of thoughts, feelings, and physical sensations. For example, phenomenologists might explore how people experience light or how people experience joy. The World Phenomenology Institute promotes this kind of research by offering courses and seminars, as well as conferences and publications.
