Worldwatch Institute

Worldwatch Institute is an organization that helps people learn about how the Earth works and how humans can live in a way that's good for the planet. It's kind of like a big group of really smart people who study the environment and climate change to figure out how people can live in a way that doesn't hurt the Earth. They teach us about things like pollution, renewable energy, and conservation (taking care of nature).

Imagine you have a toy that needs batteries to work, but you don't have any more batteries. You could either throw the toy away and get a new one or you could find a way to make the batteries last longer or find a way to recharge them. That's kind of what the Worldwatch Institute does, they help us find ways to make things work without damaging the Earth or using up all its resources.

By studying the Earth and looking at things like pollution and climate change, the Worldwatch Institute helps people figure out how to make small changes in their daily lives that can make a big difference in the health of the planet. They also work with governments and companies to try and make bigger changes to protect the Earth for all of us now and in the future.
