Wu (region)

Okay kiddo, so "Wu" is a place in China. It's a big area that includes parts of Shanghai, Jiangsu, and Zhejiang provinces.

A long long time ago, there were lots of different states in China. One of those states was called Wu. It was known for its military power and was really important for a long time.

Nowadays, Wu is mostly just a name for the area where lots of people live and work. It's got big cities like Shanghai and Hangzhou, and lots of cool things to see and do.

So basically, Wu is a place in China that was named after an old state a long time ago. It's important because lots of people live there now, and it's got lots of cool things to check out.
