Wug test
A wug test is like a game to figure out if you can say and understand new words. It's a test to see if you know how to make a new word plural by adding an "s" at the end, or if you know how to add -ed to say something happened in the past.
So let's say you see a picture of one bird and someone tells you it's a "wug". Then they show you a picture of two birds and ask you "what do you call these?" You might say "wugs" because you know how to add an "s" for more than one thing.
Then they might show you a picture of a bird without wings and ask "what happened?" You might say "it wugged" because you know how to add "-ed" to say something happened in the past tense.
