ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Y-Δ transform

The y-δ transform is a way of helping us understand changes in data. It looks at how a number goes up and down over a certain period of time. For example, if you visit your grandparents once each month, the y-δ transform could tell you if they're getting older or getting healthier. It works by comparing each visit to the visit before it and then creating a graph that shows how it's changed over time.
