Yaldabaoth

Yaldabaoth is a word that comes from a very old religion called Gnosticism. Gnosticism is not something that people practice anymore, but it was popular a long time ago.

In Gnosticism, Yaldabaoth was thought to be a bad and powerful god. Gnostics believed that Yaldabaoth was not the same as the good God that many people believe in today. In fact, they believed that Yaldabaoth was a creator god who made the world we live in, but he made it full of flaws and problems on purpose.

According to Gnosticism, Yaldabaoth thought he was the only god out there and he didn't know about the good God that created him. He thought he was the most important thing in the world and that's why he made everything so messed up.

The Gnostics believed that humans could escape from Yaldabaoth's messed up world and reach the good God by learning secret knowledge. They called this secret knowledge "gnosis," which is where their religion gets its name from.

So, in short, Yaldabaoth was a bad god in an old religion called Gnosticism. The religion believed that he made the world full of problems on purpose and only by learning secret knowledge could people escape his messed up world and reach the good God.
