ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Yarding

Yarding is when people use big machines to move a lot of trees all at once from where they were growing to a place where they can be processed. Imagine you have a lot of toys scattered around your room, and your mom or dad wants to clean them all up quickly. Instead of picking up each toy one at a time, they might use a scoop or a big container to collect them all at once and move them to a toy box or a shelf. That's kind of like what yarding does with trees, except on a much bigger scale!
