You-Pick
Alright, kiddo, have you ever gone berry picking or seen a field where you can pick your own fruit and veggies? That's what a you-pick farm is all about! Basically, it's a place where people like you and me can go and pick our own fruits and vegetables directly from the farm.
Now, when you go to a you-pick farm, the farmer will give you a basket to carry your goodies in. Then, they'll take you to the area where the fruit or veggie you want to pick is. Let's say you want to pick strawberries - the farmer will show you the strawberry plants and tell you how to pick them. You'll gently pull the strawberries off the plant and put them in your basket.
Once you're done picking, the farmer will weigh your basket and charge you for the weight of the fruit or veggies you picked. It's a fun way to get fresh, healthy food and to see where it comes from!
