ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Zero-turn mower

Imagine you're playing with a really big toy car that helps you cut the grass. But instead of having a regular steering wheel like a car does, this toy car has two levers that you can push forward or pull back to go in different directions. When you push both levers forward, the toy car moves forward, and when you pull them both back, the toy car moves backward. Here's where the cool part comes in: when you push one lever forward and pull the other lever back, it makes the toy car spin around in place. That's because each wheel is moving in a different direction, which allows the toy car to turn very quickly and easily. That's kind of what a zero-turn mower is like - it's a big machine you can sit on that has two levers you use to control where it goes. Because of this design, zero-turn mowers are really good at turning around trees, shrubs, and other obstacles in your yard without having to back up and go forward again like you would with a regular lawn mower.
