Zhong Yuan Festival

The Zhong Yuan Festival is a traditional festival celebrated by people from some Asian countries like China and Taiwan. It is usually celebrated on the 15th day of the seventh month of the Chinese lunar calendar. During this festival, people visit their ancestors’ graves and celebrate with food, music, and traditional activities. The purpose of the festival is to remember, honor, and pay respect to their ancestors by praying for peace, luck, and health. There are also some fun activities like flying sky lanterns or playing a game called yuanxiao which is like a sweet, sticky rice cake. On this day, people gather with their families and friends to wish each other good luck and fortune.
