Zilan Massacre

The zilan massacre was a really sad event that happened a long time ago in a place called Turkey. It was when some very mean soldiers went into a village called Zilan and hurt a lot of innocent people. They didn't care about their safety or their feelings and just wanted to show they were powerful.

It was like if a big bully came up to you and started pushing you around and making you feel really scared and alone. That's how the people of Zilan felt when the soldiers came.

After this terrible thing happened, lots of people got very angry and wanted to make sure nothing like this ever happened again. They worked together to make sure that the people who were hurt were remembered and that something like this would never happen again.
