ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Zone (colony)

A zone, sometimes called a colony, is a small area of land that is controlled by a larger group of people or animals. Just like how your bedroom is a part of your house, a zone is a small part of a larger area.

For example, imagine you have a big backyard where you and your friends like to play. Sometimes you might decide that one area of the backyard is just for playing with toys and another area is for running races. Each area is like a zone that has a different purpose.

In the wild, animals also have zones. For instance, a group of lions might claim a certain part of a savannah as their zone. They might hunt for food and raise their cubs in this area. Other animals, like zebras and gazelles, recognize this and try to avoid that zone to stay safe.

So, a zone is a small area that belongs to a larger piece of land that is controlled by a group of people or animals. It can have a specific purpose or function, and it can be used for various activities like playing, hunting or raising families.
