Charge is a kind of energy that is made up of tiny, moving parts called electrons. It's all around us and makes up everything in the universe! When something has an electric charge, it means that there are more electrons in one spot than another. Things with a lot of electrons in one spot like to stick together, and things with a lot of electrons in another spot like to push away from each other. We call this "static electricity".
