endomorphism

Endomorphism is kind of like a shape-shifter. It's when something changes in a very specific way so it looks the same as it did before, but it's different. For example, if you have a square with all four sides the same length, and you stretch one side, it looks the same, but it's a different size. That's kind of like endomorphism. It's when something looks like it did before, but is actually different.
