The Grelling-Nelson Paradox is a confusing puzzle about words. It starts out by asking if you have heard of a word called "heterological". Heterological means something that cannot be used to describe itself. So if you say "This word is heterological," you are saying something that isn't true about itself, because it doesn't fit its own meaning. This is what makes it a paradox! It's confusing because it seems like something that could not possibly be true, but it is!
