Hangman is a game where one person thinks of a word or phrase and the other person tries to guess the word or phrase by correctly guessing one letter at a time. Both people draw a picture of a person (called a "Hangman") and the person guessing draws a piece of the Hangman with each wrong guess. If the Hangman is complete before the word or phrase is guessed, then the person guessing loses.
