Fried rice is a delicious meal that you can make with leftover rice. To make fried rice, you will need:
1. Cooked rice
2. Sesame oil
3. An onion
4. Vegetables, like carrots or peas
5. An egg
6. Soy sauce
First, heat a teaspoon of sesame oil in a large pan on medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, add in the chopped onion, and let it cook for a few minutes. Next, add in your vegetables and cook for about 5 minutes.
Once the vegetables have softened, add the cooked rice and stir to combine. Make sure that the vegetables and rice are evenly distributed across the pan. Once the vegetables, egg and rice are combined, push them to one side of the pan and add the beaten egg to the empty side. Let the egg cook until it's set, then stir it into the rest of the rice.
Finally, to give the fried rice more flavor, add a few tablespoons of soy sauce and stir everything together. Cook for another few minutes, and then serve the fried rice warm. Enjoy!
