Korea is a country in Asia that is made up of two parts called North Korea and South Korea. North Korea is ruled by someone called a dictator who decides what people in that country can and cannot do. South Korea is a democracy, which means people get to vote on who their leaders are. North and South Korea have been divided for many years, but the people of the two countries still share a common culture and language. In recent years, North and South Korea have been working together to try to build a more peaceful future.
