Load balancing is like sharing your house with someone else. You both have the same house but you have different things in it. For example they might have their toys in one room, while you have your books in another. Load balancing is when you and the other person work together to share the house. This means each of you can use the same rooms at different times. It's a lot like sharing your favorite ice cream cone too. You each take turns having some of the ice cream, so you both get to enjoy it at the same time.
