memorandum of understanding

A memorandum of understanding (sometimes referred to as an MOU) is like a written agreement or contract between two or more people or organizations. It's a document that outlines the purposes and plans for how two or more people or companies plan to work together and what each of them will do. It also sets out expectations around how the work will be done and makes sure that everyone involved is on the same page. It's a way of making sure that everyone agrees on the same things and knows what they are supposed to do.
