ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

nordic gold

Nordic gold is a special kind of metal that looks a lot like gold but is actually something else. It's made up of different metals like copper, zinc, and tin, and it's really hard and shiny just like gold is.

The reason people use Nordic gold instead of real gold is because it's much cheaper! Real gold can be very expensive, and sometimes people don't want to spend all that money. And because Nordic gold looks so much like gold, people can't tell the difference just by looking at it.

So if you're ever looking at a piece of jewelry or a coin and you're not sure if it's real gold or not, it might be made out of Nordic gold instead. And that's okay, because Nordic gold is just as good!
