The "Philosopher's Spoon" was something that philosophers used to think about in Ancient Greece. The idea was that if you held a spoon in one hand, and tried to bend it, you would be unable to, because the spoon is made from a single piece of metal and it is strong enough to not be bent. This showed philosophers that it is important to take your time when making decisions, and think things through before making decisions. That if you rush into something you might end up breaking it.
