ping

Ping is a tool that helps us check if our computer is connected to another computer or device on the Internet. It does this by sending a short message (called a "ping") to the other device. If that device gets the message, it will respond with another message (called a "pong"). We can use Ping to make sure that our computer is connected to the Internet and to other computers and devices.
