Sculpture is like making a picture or figure out of things like clay, stone, wood, or metal. Sculptors use tools to carve, shape, and mold the material until it looks like the figure they want to make. Sometimes they use paints and other materials too. The finished work is often called a sculpture. People like to look at sculptures because they can tell stories or help people remember important people or events.
