Sweden is a country in Europe. It's near Norway, Denmark, and Finland. It's known for having beautiful lakes and forests, a long history, and for being the birthplace of popular things like furniture store IKEA and the music streaming company Spotify. People in Sweden speak Swedish and their currency is called the krona. Sweden is ruled by a government called the "Kingdom of Sweden" which means that it has a king or queen who makes laws and rules for the people of the country. Sweden also has a Prime Minister who is in charge of things like taxes, healthcare, and education.
