Idiocracy is a movie about a man who goes to sleep for 500 years and wakes up in the future to find that the world has become a stupid place. People make bad decisions, are short-sighted and have become lazy. The only person who is smart enough to do anything to help is the man who woke up. He has to figure out a way to save the world from itself.
