Torture is something bad that people sometimes do to other people. It means someone hurting someone else in a really bad way. It could be hitting them or tying them up or making them really uncomfortable or really scared. It can also mean using bad things like electric shocks to hurt them. In most places, it is against the law and a very bad thing to do.
