Turkeys are large birds that live in many parts of the world. They have feathers that are usually brown, red or tan and their bodies are covered in white, black and brown spots. They have long necks, short legs, a red head and a long, very colourful tail. Turkeys like to eat things like grass, grain and small insects. They also like to make funny sounds, especially when they are happy!
