A vector space is like a box with lots of little drawers inside. Each drawer can have something placed inside it and if you take something out of a drawer, you can put something new in. The box is like a space and the drawers are like vectors. A vector is a way of organizing things in a way that makes them easier to understand. Think of a vector like an arrow. It has a start point (the origin) and an end point (the vector). The size and direction of the vector tell you what kind of information it holds. For example, if the vector points straight up, it might indicate that the information is something positive, like a high temperature. If it points down, it could indicate that the information is something negative, like a low temperature. By organizing information into vectors, we can make it easier to understand what it all means.
