where does peanut butter come from

Peanut butter is made by crushing peanuts, which are a kind of nut that grows in the ground. To get the peanuts, farmers dig the ground and pull them out, then the peanuts are sent to a factory that cleans and roasts them. Then the roasted peanuts are mixed with a little oil, salt and sometimes sugar until they form a creamy spread that we call peanut butter.
