why does the earth revolve around the sun

The Earth is like a big ball and the Sun is like a really, really bright ball that is really, really hot. The Earth has to move around the Sun because the Sun is so powerful. It is like a magnet that pulls the Earth towards it. The Earth spins around the Sun so that we can have day and night. Without it, it would be dark all the time everywhere and we wouldn't have all the things that make our planet feel like home.
