Accumulation by dispossession

Accumulation by dispossession is when powerful people or organizations take rights or resources away from people who have less power. This can often happen by taking away land that people have traditionally used, or resources like water or food. Powerful people take away these things, often to make money or become even more powerful. It's like when an adult takes candy away from a kid; the adult gets the candy, and the kid gets nothing.
