Dispossession, oppression, and depression

Dispossession, oppression, and depression are all related to feeling bad or powerless.

Dispossession is when someone takes something away from you or makes you feel like it is not yours. For example, if a government took away someone's land, they would feel dispossessed.

Oppression is when someone uses their power or authority to mistreat or control someone else. This can include things like racial discrimination, bullying, and not giving someone a fair chance.

Depression is when someone feels sad, hopeless, or helpless for a long time. It can affect someone's mood, energy level, and ability to do everyday activities. People can experience depression for many different reasons, including situations like dispossession and oppression.
