Application software

Application software is like the toys you play with, but in your computer, phone, or tablet. It's the program you use to do fun things like draw pictures, play games, watch videos or chat with friends.

Application software can be downloaded from the internet, or they may come pre-installed on your device. They are made by software developers, who write code to make them work efficiently.

And just as you need to take good care of your toys, you also need to take care of your application software by updating them regularly to avoid bugs, viruses, and other problems that can affect their performance.
