Biblical sandals

Biblical sandals are shoes that people wore a very long time ago, specifically during the time of the Bible. They were usually made out of sturdy materials like leather and had very simple designs. The sandals had two straps that went across the top of your foot and a bigger strap that went around your ankle to keep the shoe on your foot.

They were called "biblical" because they were common during the time that the stories in the Bible took place. Many of the people who are talked about in the Bible, like Jesus and his disciples, wore these types of sandals. They were practical for walking long distances and staying cool in hot weather.

Nowadays, people can still buy and wear biblical sandals if they want to feel like they are walking in the footsteps of the people in the Bible. Often, they are sold as souvenir items or as a way to dress up in a certain theme. But most of the time, people wear more modern shoes that are more comfortable and offer more support for their feet.
