Black separatism

Black separatism is when people who are black decide that instead of being part of a larger group that includes people of different races, they want to have their own group. This usually means that they want to have their own places to live and do things, so they have more control over their own lives. They also might want to have their own culture, their own jobs, and their own traditions.
