Bronze Age Caucasus

Well kiddo, a really long time ago, people lived in a place called the Caucasus which is now in modern day countries like Georgia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan. During this time, people figured out how to use a metal called bronze to make tools and weapons instead of just using rocks and sticks. Can you imagine using metal instead of rocks to make something?

This Bronze Age lasted from about 3500 to 1200 BCE, that's a really long time ago. During this time, people started to live in bigger groups in places called settlements. They even started building walls around their settlements to protect themselves from enemies!

The people in the Caucasus also started trading with their neighbors, like the Babylonians and the Egyptians, to get resources that they didn't have. It's like you trading your toys with your friends for snacks because you don't have any.

One of the really cool things that the people in the Caucasus did during the Bronze Age was make beautiful objects like jewelry and sculptures. They used their new found knowledge of metallurgy to make intricate designs with lots of different colors.

Overall, the Bronze Age Caucasus was a time when people learned how to make and use bronze, lived in settlements, traded with their neighbors, and made beautiful objects. It was a really important time in human history that helped people make progress and learn new things.
