ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Critical Inquiry

Critical inquiry is a way of asking questions and using evidence to more deeply explore an idea or topic. It involves coming up with thoughtful questions to help you learn more, and then using facts and research to answer those questions. Critical inquiry can help you think more deeply and truly understand a topic or idea. For example, if you were learning about dinosaurs, you could use critical inquiry to ask questions like "what did they eat" or "where did they live", and then use facts you find in books or on the internet to find the answers to those questions.
