Crop weed

When we grow plants like tomatoes or corn, we don't want any other unwanted plants growing with them. These unwanted plants are called weeds, and they take up valuable space and nutrients that should go to our desired plants. So we have to get rid of them. One way to do this is by using a tool called a hoe to scrape the top layer of soil and uproot the weeds. Another way is by spraying a special chemical called a herbicide that kills the weeds but not our desired plants. This helps our crops grow big and strong without competition from unwanted guests.
